Hello to all and welcome back to Playstation Base! I hope you are all feeling fine!
It’s that time of the week again! Who’s excited for the weekend?! What have you got planned? Nothing? Well don’t worry, we have another great Netflix suggestion ready and waiting for you!
This week I would like to recommend a hugely heart warming documentary. Craigslist Joe is an experiment by Joseph Garner in which he spends the month of December travelling America supporting himself solely through Craigs List, which for those that don’t know is kind of like an American version of Gumtree. Joe sets off with no money or food or any prospect of shelter and is reliant on advertisements from the widely used website. It’s a story about the importance of community aswell as a social experiment and I found it both heart wrenching and warming at the same time. Throughout the film, I was able to build a relationship with Joe, feeling sad when things didn’t go his way and elated when they did. It’s an emotional journey, what can I say, but nevertheless, it is definitely worth the watch!
